Will I have to pay import duty or tax?
You may be charged import duty, local VAT or sales tax, courier clearance fees and other customs charges when your parcel enters its destination country.
These charges are set by the destination country and its customs authority. They are not controlled or collected by Waller BMX when an order is sent DDU.
Can Waller BMX calculate my import charges?
We cannot guarantee the final amount because rates, thresholds and customs procedures vary between countries and may change. Please contact your local customs authority for the most accurate information before ordering.
Could my parcel arrive without any charges?
Some parcels may clear customs without additional charges, but this cannot be guaranteed. Unless we have specifically confirmed otherwise in writing, please place your order on the basis that local charges may be payable.
Can you mark my parcel as a gift or lower its value?
No. We must declare the parcel contents and value accurately on all customs documentation. We cannot mark a commercial order as a gift or deliberately declare a lower value.
Can customs delay my delivery?
Yes. Customs inspections and clearance times are outside Waller BMX and the courierās direct control. Delivery estimates do not include unexpected customs delays.
Please make sure your email address, telephone number and delivery address are correct so the courier can contact you if further information or payment is required.
Why can international delivery be expensive?
International delivery prices are based on the packed weight, parcel dimensions, destination, courier rates and any applicable fuel or handling surcharges. BMX bikes, frames and wheels can require large protective boxes, even when the products themselves are relatively light.
We compare the available services and aim to provide a competitive and suitable delivery option.
Important Information
If Charges Are Not Paid
If an international parcel is refused, left unclaimed, returned because import charges were not paid, or returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied, any refund will only be processed after the parcel has returned to Waller BMX.
The refund will be reduced by any costs incurred, including:
- The original delivery cost
- The courierās return delivery charge
- Customs handling or re-import charges
- Non-refundable payment-processing costs
- Applicable administration, restocking or handling costs
These costs can be substantial, particularly for complete bikes, frames and other large parcels. Please pay any requested customs charges promptly and contact us if you are unsure about a message from the courier.
