Large Bike Shipping Policy

Shipping complete bikes requires special handling, packaging, and courier services. Below is our policy for shipping large items such as complete BMX bikes.


Shipping Costs

Large bikes are excluded from free UK shipping offers. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Parcel size

  • Parcel weight

  • Delivery location

  • Courier availability


Packaging & Safety

All bikes are:

  • Professionally packaged

  • Protected with foam, padding, and reinforced boxes

  • Partially disassembled for safe transport (front wheel, pedals, bars)

A basic reā€‘assembly will be required upon delivery.


Delivery Times

Bike shipments may take slightly longer due to:

  • Courier size restrictions

  • Manual handling

  • Additional packaging requirements

International Bike Shipping

Large bike shipping outside the UK may require:

  • Oversize courier services

  • Additional customs documentation

  • Higher shipping rates

All international bike shipments are Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer.


Damage in Transit

If your bike arrives damaged:

  1. Photograph the box and all damage immediately

  2. Email photos to sales@wallerbmx.co.uk within 48 hours

  3. Do not assemble or ride the bike

  4. Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved

We will assist with courier claims and replacements where applicable.


Lost Parcels

If a bike shipment is lost, we will:

  • Open an investigation with the courier

  • Provide updates throughout the process

  • Replace or refund the order once the courier confirms loss
