The Hybrid Freecoaster combines over 10 years of R&D to deliver the feel of a freecoaster with the lightweight durability of a cassette hub. Built around a refined cassette-based system, it eliminates the heavy, unreliable clutch mechanism used in traditional freecoasters.
Featuring a patented adjustable double slack system, MagnaDrive magnetic pawl retention, wave spring friction system, and a super durable 14mm heat-treated CrMo axle, the Hybrid is designed for smooth, dependable performance with minimal maintenance.
33% lighter than conventional clutch-style freecoasters and easily convertible into a regular cassette hub, the Hybrid gives riders two hubs in one. Tested and approved by the Wethepeople team, it’s built to ride hard without the hassle.
